This restaurant is amazing. It used to be called the Country Inn. We went with a party of 6. All of us ordered something different and LOVED it. If I lived in Berkeley Springs, I would go here all the time. I ordered the Salmon Caesar Salad. It was a huge amount of fresh Alaskan salmon, and I could not eat it fast enough. I am still dreaming about it. My husband ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich and said it was as tender as butter. The rest of our party ordered chili cheese fries, meatloaf and potatoes, a BLT, and a gigantic burger cooked to your preference. One of our party enjoyed 2 IPA beers. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will forever be on a search for fresh Alaskan Salmon Caesar salad, and my husband can't stop craving their thick prime rib sandwich. If we are ever back in Berkeley Springs, this will be our first stop!

Decent, but certainly not exceptional. I had the ribs, which were well cooked but slathered in way too much of what was pretty clearly bottled barbecue sauce. The baked beans that accompanied it were obviously canned, and the potato salad listed on the menu was unavailable. As was the hot cider and rum drink advertised by a table card. The cheddar mashed potatoes were a huge portion, but didn't taste fresh. Quite expensive for what was offered. This clearly survives on the tourist business, and the limited number of restaurants in the town.

I went there with a group of 6 last weekend. I can't say the food was bad, but it wasn't worth the price. The sides were out of a can, both the green beans and baked beans. The mashed potatoes were definitely out of a box. That's not the issue however, it's that my meal was $14. I could understand paying that for fresh food, but not canned. The meal itself probably cost them $5 to make, tops. There are not a lot of dining options in Berkeley Springs so I think people are willing to pay that price. But I would recommend ordering a baked potato to ensure that it was made fresh and not from a box. I can say that the service was great, the location was quaint and clean. Just be warned that you are definitely not going to get what you pay for here.

My wife and I spent three nights at the hotel where the restaurant is located, and we've eaten there four times!!! The service is excellent. Chuck, who I think is the manager/owner was very hospitable from the beginning and by our second visit was treating us like regulars. He even made a special cocktail for my wife when we told him we had just came from the spa. The food is down-home, country fare. Stick to your ribs kind of stuff, which is just what I'd expect in a small town. The beers are cheap and cold, the food is reasonably priced and served with a smile, what more could you want.

My staff and I enjoyed our lunch during a town hall meeting at the Park View Restaurant and Tavern at the Country Inn. The restaurant is definitely a delicious and affordable Berkeley Springs gem. It was difficult to choose between the vast array of signature sandwiches, and my entrée was cooked to perfection. I would love to stop by for lunch or dinner at the Park View Restaurant the next time I am in town.
